How I build now
Most of my work starts as a brief for an agent. Claude Code writes the first pass, MCP servers give it access to the real systems, and I review what comes back before it merges.
I build the tooling for this too. OpsKitty has an MCP server, so an agent can check uptime or run a Lighthouse audit without me opening a dashboard. Memoid gives agents memory that lasts past one conversation.
It works outside engineering as well. I replaced a $10K/month marketing agency with Claude and wrote up every prompt.
